In Béthune, in the Pas-de-Calais, a former employee of the Bridgestone factory runs a creperie. Among its employees, some young people are disabled.
In Bethune (Pas-de-Calais)the creperie “Le Petit Plus” mixes gluttony and solidarity. Here, four employees are disabled and on fixed-term contracts. They learn the tasks of a restaurant, including reception on the telephone. “We are dealing with young people whom no one has ever given a chance before, whereas they are young people who give us complete satisfaction”explains the restorer Marie-Aude Cagniart.
This restaurant project was running through Francky’s head Cagniart since a long time. The closure of the Bridgestone factory in Béthune, where he worked for eighteen years, was ultimately only a trigger. Four years of preparation later and training as a chef, the restaurant was born.
