Pas-de-Calais placed on orange “rain-flood” alert from tomorrow morning

The Pas-de-Calais department, heavily affected by bad weather in November and December, is placed on orange “rain-flood” vigilance from Wednesday morning, Météo-France announces in a vigilance bulletin published Tuesday February 6.

“Heavy precipitation sets in for the end of the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, particularly affecting the Pas-de-Calais department. This rain continues throughout the day on Wednesday, then ends up easing for the end of the following day. -noon”specifies the meteorology and climatology service.

Météo-France awaits a recovery “rainy activity” during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Expected precipitation could reach 30 to 40 mm, “especially on the heights of the department”, and 50 mm in some places.
