The red zone, limited to thirty minutes. The first half hour will be free. From 31 minutes, the price will increase to 8 euros. 15 euros for 32 minutes. Beyond 35 minutes, the motorist will have to pay 35 euros, the price of the Post Parking Package (FPS). A monthly subscription for those working in paid areas.

As of November 1, the town hall of Montpellier will also set up a new system: A professional flat rate to allow employees who work in the city center to park near their company. “Those who work, whether in the private or the public sector, will have the right to do so from November 1”, explains Manu Reynaud, deputy mayor of Montpellier in charge of transport. All employees need to do is go to a TAM agency or buy their package online. It will cost between €60 and €130 per month, depending on the tax horsepower of the vehicle and the parking area. “It is an innovation that we are doing in Montpellier to favor people who work and who cannot have other solutions than the vehicle”, welcomes the elected official.
