As long as he is still there, Paris can sleep peacefully in Ligue 1. Manhandled for 45 minutes by efficient Montpellier residents, PSG finally won largely thanks to a hat-trick from Kylian Mbappé at the end of the 26th day of Ligue 1 (2 -6). At the break, however, the trend was rather in favor of the Héraultais, who came back in stoppage time to reach the Parisians on a penalty from Téji Savanier (2-2).
But upon returning from the locker room, Kylian Mbappé took his team on his back to make a break from which Montpellier did not recover. In thirteen minutes, the French international, already a scorer (22nd), scored twice (50th, 63rd) to put Paris out of reach. Meanwhile, Kang-in Lee scored his goal with a superb strike (53rd), before Nuno Mendes added to the score at the end of the match (89th). In the standings, PSG is moving forward after three draws in a row and continues its solo lead in the championship. It is 12 points ahead of its runner-up, Brest, eight days from the end of the championship.
