Huberdeau, who also had an assist, hit the 30 mark for the second time in his career. He extended his point streak to 13, joining Mike Hoffman (17 in 2018-19) and Pavel Bure (13 in 1999-2000) to have achieved this feat with the Panthers.
Mason Marchment and Maxim Mamin also scored as Claude Giroux contributed to three goals for the Panthers, who have the longest active winning streak in the NHL. Sergei Bobrovsky saved 30 pucks.
The Florida squad leads the Eastern Conference and is just two points behind the Colorado Avalanche for the NHL’s highest total.
Nikolaj Ehlers was the lone scorer for the Jets, who missed an opportunity to close their eighth-place playoff lead to six points.
Connor Hellebuyck allowed four goals on 26 shots before being replaced by Eric Comrie early in the third period. Comrie stopped 15 pitches.
