Palestinian killed in punitive Israeli settler expedition

The outbreak of violence continues in the West Bank. Two Israeli brothers were killed Sunday, February 26, in a gun attack on a road in the occupied West Bank. Already last week, 11 Palestinians died in an Israeli army raid in the city of Nablus. But a milestone was reached on the night of Sunday to Monday February 27because it is the first time that Israeli settlers, 400 armed civilians, have entered a Palestinian village to to do justice themselves. A Palestinian was killed and a dozen others injured.

Unanimous convictions

They set fire to cars, shops, homes, and attacked Palestinians. It was the army that intervened to chase them away. Obviously, this morning the international condemnations are unanimous and they point the finger at the far-right government of Binyamin Netanyahu. For several weeks, some of these openly racist ministers have been inciting and calling for violence against Palestinians.
