The Pacific Division team won the American Hockey League (AHL) All-Star Tournament on Monday night at Place Bell in Laval.
In the final of the event, the winners defeated the Atlantic Division 1-0.
Seth Griffith was the only scorer in this duel at the top. The forward of the Bakersfield Condors, the Edmonton Oilers’ farm club, hit the target five times during the competition.

The two Pacific goalies, Lukas Dostal (San Diego Gulls) and Dustin Wolf (Calgary Wranglers), shared the title of tournament MVP.
Laval Rocket representatives, forwards Alex Belzile and Anthony Richard, were skating for the North Section team. The two Quebecers saw their journey come to an end after the preliminary competition. Their team tied against Central and Pacific, but was defeated 3-2 in a shootout against Atlantic. That shootout dragged on, and Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Alexander Nylander ended the debate in the eleventh wave.
