Pacific Ocean | Sailor and his dog rescued after two months adrift





(Sydney) An Australian sailor and his dog drifted aboard a catamaran in the Pacific Ocean for two months, eating raw fish and drinking rainwater, before being rescued by a Mexican tuna boat, according to australian media


Tim Shaddock and his dog Bella had left the seaside town of La Paz, Mexico in April and planned to travel around 6000 km before dropping anchor in French Polynesia.

But rough seas quickly damaged the boat and put the electronic equipment out of service.

Tim Shaddock, 51, emaciated face, shaggy beard and visibly tired from this adventure, explained that he survived by eating only seafood. “I only have fishing equipment,” he said. explained to the Australian TV channel 9News.
