Since October 31, the UK has seen leaders from all over the world arrive on its soil to attend COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland. If certain agreements made at this summit for the climate are welcomed, the means of transport to access the COP are talked about a lot, the majority of participants having taken the plane or even a private jet.

According to Daily Mail, “400 private jets have landed in Glasgow” to get to the COP26, the climate summit, says the journalist from France Télévisions Maëlys September, live from London. An influx of private planes so large that it created a “traffic jam on the tarmac at the airport, forcing some planes to travel 50 kilometers more to find a place to park”, she specifies.

The British daily criticizes several public figures and even speaks of hypocrisy. Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO Joe Biden, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen or Boris Johnson are singled out. Many are not only calling for words from these public figures, but also for action.
