In the West Bank, local authorities say more than 200 Palestinians have been killed since October 7. Reporting.
On October 11, in the Palestinian village of Qusra in the West Bank, a group of people, who had come down from the neighboring settlement, their faces masked, attacked a house and fired at all levels. Four Palestinians were killed that day. “The settlers were here, they were shooting at the house. They came to burn this family in their home“, tell Abdelhakim Wahi, who is not ready to forget this disastrous day.
Seven attacks per day
Qusra lives in constant fear. The village is surrounded by Jewish settlements. The context was already tense before October 7 and has deteriorated significantly since the Hamas attacks. “Their goal in all this is that we leave our land and not return“, says a resident. In recent weeks, Abdelhakim Wahi has not been able to harvest his olives, because his field is regularly attacked by settlers. Since October 7, settler attacks have more than doubled in the West Bank. UN has seven per day on average.
