In Guadeloupe, the mobilization against the health pass and the vaccination obligation is raging. The government announced the arrival of 200 gendarmes and police reinforcements in the coming days.

In Guadeloupe, schools are currently closed. At the CHU, striking employees prevent non-strikers from accessing the hospital. Half of the medical staff are absent and the operating theater provides minimum service. While the clashes between demonstrators and the police continued during the day Friday, the strikers want to start negotiations with the state.
