Ginette Reno was forced to cancel her participation in the Outaouais Film Festival due to health issues.

“It is with regret that I must cancel my participation in the Outaouais Film Festival. Health problems of a joint nature make me suffer a lot and unfortunately prevent me from moving around. I was very happy to be honorary president of this beautiful event this year. I will be with you wholeheartedly and wish everyone a very good Festival”, explained the singer, in a press release shared by the organizers of the event.
Ginette Reno was expected in Outaouais for a film lesson on June 3.
She also had to attend the screening of the film Leoloby Jean-Claude Lauzon, a classic of Quebec cinema in which Mme Reno held one of the main roles.
“Nothing to worry about”
Joined by The newspaperhis impresario Nicolas Lemieux wants to reassure his fans.
“There’s nothing to worry about, she just needs a little rest,” he says.
The presence of Ginette Reno at the Jean Coutu pharmacy in Gatineau, initially scheduled for this weekend, is postponed to a later date. However, this is the only postponement on the singer’s agenda.
The interpreter of The essential is indeed touring pharmacies affiliated with the Jean Coutu network to meet his fans and sign copies of his autobiography and his album, launched exclusively in these establishments last month.
The book, simply titled Ginetterecently passed the milestone of 50,000 copies sold.
