(Calgary) WestJet says a system outage on Thursday morning is delaying some flights and intermittently affecting its operations.

Airline spokeswoman Morgan Bell said the outage affects check-in processes at airports, as well as flight planning and payment services on the company’s website.
Mme Bell encourages travelers to arrive at the airport early and check their flight status to see if there are any delays. She says WestJet is working to restore the situation as soon as possible and thanks travelers for their patience.
WestJet promises to provide updates on the situation throughout the day.
