“Out of eight euros of budget, one euro goes to repaying our debt,” says Antoine Armand, Minister of the Economy and Finance.

Asked about a possible downgrade in France’s rating, Antoine Armand, Minister of the Economy and Finance, underlines that “When you are Minister of the Economy and Finance of France, you do not make a policy for a rating agency, but you obviously look at the international climate and the way the institutes view France”.

On the set of “4 Vérités”, Friday October 11, he recalls that faced with France’s colossal debt, it is imperative to take measures. “This is why we presented a recovery budget yesterday”he adds. “Today, out of eight euros of the budget, one euro goes directly and solely to repaying our debt”underlines the minister.
