There is no doubt that you will want to serve Quebec spirits to your guests during the holidays. With the large selection of exquisite products made here, we are spoiled for choice! Here is a selection.

Two gins

Distillery La Manufacture Koï

Gin lovers will be delighted by this exceptional product that really stands out from other products in its category. Its pronounced taste of ginger surprises from the first sip. This natural and organic ingredient comes from a farm near the distillery in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. As another herb, lemongrass goes into the composition of this gin with flavors that transport you to the Orient. Its bottle, just as remarkable, is flanked by a label that recalls Japanese art with its colors, calligraphy and illustrations of koi carp, which gave its name to the gin. Invigorating and bewitching, this spirit will be perfect to accompany your Asian dishes or to enhance a spicy holiday cocktail.

Dry gin, 750 ml Canada, Quebec. SAQ code: 15069553. Price: $52.

Verde Glam Garden

The BluePearl distillery, from Montreal, to whom we owe the Royal Blue gin, has just launched a sparkling gin, just in time for the Holidays! If you shake the product, little snowflake-like sparkles will swirl around before settling at the bottom of the bottle. These edible particles give a festive air to this pretty gin flavored with cucumber, mint, basil and rosemary. On the palate, it is an explosion of well-balanced flavors, a fresh taste and a barely sweet touch. This gin is described as light, since it contains less alcohol than an ordinary gin.

Dry gin, 700 ml Canada, Quebec. SAQ code: 15115898. Price $39.50.

A vodka

Lock 4

An original vodka from the McAuslan Brewery since it is made from the distillation of Quebec wheat, rather than barley, corn or potatoes. The choice of this ingredient changes the taste of the vodka, giving it a sweet touch rather than a neutral taste. We like to taste it alone or on ice. Of course, you can also serve it in cocktails, preferably sweet.

Vodka, 750 ml Canada, Quebec. SAQ code: 14825513. Price: $48.

A liquor

Beemer cherry liqueur

This Lac-Saint-Jean distillery is just as talented at producing gins as kirschs and liqueurs made from small boreal fruits from the region: blueberries, cherries and haskaps. Favorite for its sweet cherry liqueur. On the palate, it is a concentrate of sour cherry flavors (more tart than red cherries) that explode. It’s refined and delicious at the same time. The liqueur is made from the same alcohol base used for their gin. Ideal for an original kir recipe.

Fruit liqueur (cherry), 375 ml Canada, Quebec. SAQ code: 15011440. Price: $29.90.

A rum

Distillery Mariana Morbleu

A spirit from Louiseville that you absolutely need for the Holidays! A spiced black rum “prepared in Quebec”, since the alcohol from distilled sugar cane comes from the Caribbean. However, the recipe was prepared here and contains five herbs: cardamom, star anise, rosemary, cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, this rum reveals notes of molasses, vanilla, cinnamon and light herbal touches. Drink it alone or in your holiday cocktails, like a traditional eggnog.

Spiced rum, 750 ml Canada, Quebec. SAQ code: 13261664. Price: $36.25.

A cream drink

cream spell

This maple cream drink is simply delicious! It was made from Sortilège Canadian whisky, distilled and aged for 1100 days in oak barrels, to which fresh cream flavored with Quebec maple syrup has been added. The result is an exquisite and unique taste, presented in a round and creamy texture. To drink on ice, or in a float, accompanied, for example, by a Paris Brest Yule log from ÔFauria for a perfect match.

Cream drink (maple), 750 ml Canada, Quebec. SAQ code: 12139456. Price: $29.90.

Chicken milk rum Morbleu
