Our picks at the Francos | The duty

Dope.gng

The young and prolific duo from Hochelaga, who are making waves on the metropolitan underground hip-hop scene, will present their narcotic trap on the outdoor boards of the Francos, with a still fresh mini-album under their arm, Top Net, released last spring.

On the Jeanne-Mance/Sainte-Catherine stage, 11 p.m.

Good Listener & Great Beach

Specialist in collage and remix, collaborator of Bigflo & Oli, the French trio intends to make the Metropolis dance with its assembly of house, funk, disco and hip-hop; Montreal composer Super Plage, who has an infallible flair for catchy electro-pop songs, deserves to be invaded on the dance floor.

At the MTelus, 9 p.m.

HONEY

Being a hotshot is not a fault in the music of the Quebec-American duo MIELS, as evidenced by lick the sky, his effective second album released last month. Paige Barlow has that je-ne-sais-quoi in her voice reminiscent of Nanette Workman (and it’s not just a question of accent!), which blends perfectly with the rock and electro energy of the band’s compositions.

At the Silo, 7 p.m.
