The full lineup for the next Osheaga festival was revealed on Wednesday: in addition to the headliners already announced, Noah Kahan, Green Day and SZA, Jean Drapeau Park will welcome The Smashing Pumpkins, Hozier, Justice, Renée Rapp, T-Pain , Hamza, Dominic Fike and dozens of others between August 2 and 4.
This 17e edition of the Montreal festival once again promises to vary the pleasures, since we find artists of all genres (or almost) on this poster revealed Wednesday morning. As for rock, punk and grunge music, Green Day, Saturday’s main guest, will be eagerly awaited, as will Rancid, The Lindas Lindas, The Smashing Pumpkins and Sleater-Kinney.
A true sensation of the moment, Noah Kahan was announced as the headliner for the first day of the festival. In the pop category (in all its variations), Osheaga should make people happy: Renée Rapp (star of Broadway and the new version of the film Mean Girls), Teddy Swims (who is all the rage on TikTok), Melanie Martinez and the acclaimed Hozier (who filled Place Bell a few months ago) will be there. Briston Maroney, Two Door Cinema Club and Arlo Parks are also expected on Sainte-Hélène Island.
The most nominated artist at the latest Grammy Awards, SZA, will be the highlight of the show and will bring her modern R&B to the stage on Sunday evening, the last day of the festival. Hip-hop veteran T-Pain, singer Tyla, Ayra Starr and Michaël Brun are also on the bill, as are Denzel Curry, Lil Tjay, Skepta, Hamza and several other rappers.
The program does not forget fans of electro music: Martin Garrix, Justice, Labrinth, as well as a host of DJs were invited to the party. Osheaga also makes room for local, Quebec and Canadian artists, including TALK, Cadence Weapon, Clay and Friends, Alias, Planet Giza, CRi and Alvvays.
Daily and three-day tickets will go on sale this Friday.
