William Hurt, American actor and Hollywood legend, died at the age of 71 on Sunday.

The American actor born in Washington in 1950 marked several generations of spectators, from the 1980s to 2021, the year of the release of his last film, Black Widow. In Quebec, her role in the film blue butterfly (2004) brought him into contact with director Léa Pool.
Oscar for best actor in 1985 for his performance in Kiss of the Spider Womanhe also won the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival the same year.
More recently, William Hurt starred in The Miracle Season (2018), Robin Hood (2009) and Into the Wild (2008).
