Orleans: without a mask in the tram, he tries to escape a control and falls in the Loire

More fear than harm this November 12 for a 20-year-old student who fell in the Loire. At around 1:30 p.m., the young man was in the tram running near the Georges V bridge when he ran into a municipal police check. However, he does not wear a mask.

For fear of having to pay the fine of 135 euros, he immediately fled and tried to hide behind the parapet of the bridge, according to municipal police officers on the spot. But it slips on the damp stone and falls into the Loire, several meters below. Carried away by the current, the young man drifts to the Quai Saint-Laurent, on the other side of the Joffre Bridge, a good kilometer further.

On the spot, a municipal police officer helps him out of the water. The student was taken care of by the firefighters of the SDIS 45. Miraculously, his condition was nothing serious but the young person will be followed for control at the Orléans Regional Hospital Center.
