If you are over 16, the vaccination pass is now essential to go to a restaurant or take public transport. The France 3 teams followed its first day of application, Monday January 24, in Orléans (Loiret).

It is now the only sesame to lead a normal life. In Orleans (Loiret) as everywhere in France, the vaccination pass now punctuates the daily life of shops, starting with restaurants. The change has gone almost unnoticed by many. “I even agree if they ask me for my identity document”says a customer. Indeed, merchants will now be able to request an identity document in order to verify the validity of a pass.

A hundred meters further, in a cinema, the manager claims to have lost spectators. And even among those vaccinated, some are far from approving of these measures. “It’s one more exclusion for a number of people,” retorts a spectator. In a nearby cafe, a waitress is already exhausted. He sometimes gets insulted when a pass is not valid and claims to be wasting time. The government says it is ready to lift the obligation of the vaccination pass as soon as sanitary conditions allow it.
