Every week, the podcast “Salut l’info!” tells the news to 7-11 year olds, a production of radio franceinfo and the magazine Astrapi. The children speak throughout the show: to comment on the news, ask questions, ask for advice or tell jokes. To co-present the episode of the week, the first of the season, “Salut l’info!” welcomes Alix, 9 years old.

The news in France for children is first of all the start of the school year! This is also the figure of the week: do you know how many students have returned to school? The answer can be heard in this program.

Our file of the week is also dedicated to original initiatives led by school teachers: bicycle office, Harry Potter class or even mailboxes to help children in difficulty.

In France, the appointment of a new Prime Minister, after several weeks of waiting, is also at the heart of the news. But who is the new head of government? And why did the president take so long to choose him? Presenter Estelle explains everything to the children.

To get you started on the adventure of media education in cycles 2 and 3, we provide you with a new episode of “Quart d’heure Actu” every week. This sequence of three short audio clips taken from the podcast “Salut l’info!” allows you to establish a short and fun weekly information ritual in class. And to encourage active listening among students, the session is accompanied by a downloadable quiz.

Of course, there is also a sports topic, with the Paralympic Games taking place until September 8. Nearly 190,000 students have the chance to attend the events. This is the case for students from a school in Villejuif, which our journalist Zena followed on a report at the Stade de France, near Paris, guaranteed atmosphere!

In our “We tell each other everything” section, children can talk to us about their feelings and worries. This week, Noëlla tells us about a very current problem: her best friend is no longer in the same school as her. A real back-to-school drama to which the show gives advice, with the help of a psychologist.

With the return of “Salut l’info!”, it’s also the big return of the… joke box! On the answering machine, children can leave their best riddle at 01 47 79 40 00 and listen to themselves on the show.

Finally, in the “Club Salut l’info!”, our listener of the week Alix shares her daily life and her passions, particularly for the singer Slimane.

Enjoy listening and see you next week for a new episode!
