“Civilization Lost”, which is released this Friday, offers ten titles which retrace the period during which Orelsan composed his album “Civilization”, alone during confinement.

After breaking all records with his album Civilizationdiamond disc, which means more than 500,000 copies in just five months, Orelsan released a reissue on Friday, October 28.
Ten new titles, widely fanned in the second part of the series never show that to anyone which is currently triumphing on Amazon Prime Video. A reissue closer to the “private joke” than real songs: in the series, Orelsan had recorded it alone, then making it listen to his two friends, Skread and Ablaye.
And in fact, the ten pieces that form Lost Civilization retrace months of wandering for Orelsan, those during which he struggled, alone during confinement, to try to put his new album on the right track. In front of his brother Clément Cotentin’s camera, he writes, crosses out, records, redoes, despairs, everything is not very good, far from it. There is also a highly anticipated piece, this famous duet with Angèle, Obviouslywhich could not be done in time.
Orelsan superstar, to the point of releasing songs that are not all up to standard, just to make everyone who loves him laugh… and there are many of them. Orelsan will be in concert notably at La Défense Arena on December 8, 9 and 10.
