Ryan Reynolds became the newest member of the Order of British Columbia last night.
The Vancouver-born actor and producer received the honor from Premier David Eby and Lieutenant Governor Janet Austin in a private ceremony in Vancouver.
This award is considered the highest honor in the province.
A last-minute scheduling conflict prevented the actor from participating in the official ceremony taking place today in Victoria to recognize more than a dozen other recipients.
