Calls on fixed and mobile phones from the Orange network, as well as internet connections for subscribers of this operator have been disrupted since this Friday morning in the north of Haute-Vienne. The malfunctions are related to the cut of a fiber optic cable located between Chauvigny and Saint-Savin in Vienne and on the upper Vienne side, this also impacts the following seven municipalities in Haute-Vienne:
- Azat le Ris
- Jouac
- Lussac-les-Eglises
- Saint-Leger-Magnazeix
- Saint-Martin-le-Mault
- Tersanes
- Verneuil Moustiers
According to a press release from the Haute-Vienne prefecture, the network should be restored by the end of the day. In the event of an emergency, you must dial 112 from a mobile to reach the emergency services.
