The Rhône Valley on orange alert for air pollution with fine particles since this Friday afternoon. Motorists are invited to reduce their speed by 20 km/h on the motorway, by 10 km/h on national and departmental roads. You are also asked not to light your fireplace when it is not the main means of heating the accommodation. Indeed, the concentrations of pollutants are favored by heating and by a mass of stagnant air.
To date, only the air basin of the Rhone Valley is affected by this alert. The interior of the lands, whether on the Ardèche side or on the Drôme side, remains relatively spared.
