Météo France places the Drôme and the Ardèche on orange vigilance for thunderstorms this Sunday morning. There is a risk of lightning along the Rhône valley and especially in the Drôme. Strong thunderstorms, accompanied locally by very heavy rains, will intensify in the morning, between the Languedoc and Rhône-Alpes coasts.
What is not reassuring this Sunday morning is the risk of lightning. It is she who is at the origin of the fire of Roméyer in the Diois, which has lasted since Friday August 5.
Seven other departments are placed on orange alert to storms: Rhône, Ain, Gard, Hérault, Isère, Loire and Haute-Loire.
