Ophélie Meunier married to Mathieu Vergne: they met thanks to a famous program

M6 is broadcasting this Sunday evening a new number of Restricted zone presented by Ophélie Meunier.

If today, Ophélie Meunier is one of the emblematic figures of M6 and television, she owes it in part to her husband Mathieu Vergne, director of flow programs at TF1. The 34-year-old young woman has been making perfect love for seven years with the father of her two children: Joseph, 3, and Valentine, 11 months.

It is also on television and more precisely behind the scenes of the show Dance with the stars on TF1 that Ophélie Meunier and Mathieu Vergne met in 2015. At the time, the 27-year-old young woman presented a media magazine The Tube on Canal+. “I came to do a ‘Behind the scenes’ subject, it served as my guide. Nothing happened that day, but I found it interesting, positive and very beautiful”, remembered Ophélie Meunier in an interview with Paris Match in January 2018.

He’s half of me like I’m half of him

While at the time, Ophélie Meunier and her companion had been together for two and a half years, the two lovebirds seemed to have immediately found each other, as testified by the first to Paris Match : “We are able to talk about politics, culture, gastronomy, social facts… everything interests us, especially since it can give rise to an idea, a discovery for a new program (…) He is half of me as I am half of him.

A love that materialized on February 10, 2018 when they said “yes” to the town hall of the 17th arrondissement in the company of their family and loved ones. Since then, Ophélie Meunier and Mathieu Vergne have had a busy family life, as she informed the journalist in the columns of Cable Sat Hebdo last July: “Taking care of two children, one three years old and the other ten months old, is sport, believe me!”
