Operation Red Nose | Nearly 21,000 rides carried out in Quebec this season

(Quebec) The results of Opération Nez Rouge reveal that more than 26,400 rides were carried out during the very recent 39e campaign, including more than 20,750 in Quebec.

Operation Red Nose took place in 74 communities across Canada from November 25 until last Saturday. It brought together more than 22,900 volunteers, including more than 18,500 in Quebec, where the activity began in 1984.

The thousands of volunteers helped support the communities in which the service was offered, since all donations raised during the campaign are redistributed to local organizations related to youth and amateur sports.

This year, the role of spokesperson in Quebec has been entrusted to comedian Mathieu Dufour.

Operation Red Nose enables impaired motorists during the holiday season to be brought home with their car thanks to volunteers.
