operated “nine times”, the host of M6 looks back on this terrible accident which almost made him lose his legs!

He is always in a jovial mood but has nevertheless experienced many hardships… Stéphane Plaza, for example, still has a lot of trouble, and we understand this, in mourning his mother who died several years ago. “We didn’t want relentless therapy and we accompanied her to the end with my brother, dad and my step-dad. Telling her mom that she’s going to be okay when we know she won’t make it, it’s not easy”, he confided to our colleagues from Gala about this difficult ordeal.

But even longer ago, the most famous real estate agent was the victim of a terrible accident. Very discreet about this story, the friend of Karine Le Marchand delivered an incredible testimony about this story in “Vivement Dimanche” this Sunday, March 13. “I had a violent fall, I broke my calcaneus and the tibia plateau”he confided at first before ensuring that it was only the beginning of his galleys: “But as I am very lucky in my life, the doctor disappeared. So there is no report of the operation, we do not know what he did to me. So I was operated nine times. And it was my dad who sent me, fortunately, to a sports center for rehabilitation, in Capbreton, and it was the doctor who saved me.

This accident, and these numerous operations, acted as a trigger for Stéphane Plaza. This explains in particular his famous joie de vivre and his humor in any situation. Indeed, he added later in his intervention with Michel Drucker: “I had surgery two years in a row. You’re all alone in a room for four months. So either you get embittered or you’re like ‘well I can die tomorrow so I’m going to enjoy life and give it my all. I can give'”.
