Opening of the Riverside Café in Saint-Lambert

The McKenzie family, owners of the popular Café Webster in Saint-Lambert, have just opened the Riverside, 500 meters further on Victoria Avenue.

While the eldest sells products from the Guillaume bakery, his little brother offers prepared salads from Mandy’s and what comes out of the Pain dans les Voiles ovens.

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif sought to maintain the offering of his bakery in Saint-Lambert, an offering which disappeared when Crimes et gourmandise became Saucette wine merchant & refreshment bar, explains Guy McKenzie, himself the son of a baker.

One thing is certain, the Riverside (which occupies the former location of the Bouticaire) seems to fill a demand in addition to that of the Webster.

Last Saturday, the crowd attracted by its opening even took Helena McKenzie by surprise, she confides. “People were lining up outside. »

His father is also waiting for good weather to install the terrace, while the few places found inside have already been adopted by parents with strollers and local workers, we noted during our passage.
