It was a real lack for students in Cannes, a lack filled from this start of the school year: the town hall of Cannes and the Crous are creating a cafeteria within the Georges Méliès campus. An investment of 35,000 euros on the side of the municipality to allow these students to eat well and at low cost on site.
Lower rates for scholarship holders
The cost of a meal? For non-scholarship holders it will be 3.30 euros, against only one euro for scholarship holders. To have access to products “from organic farming and supplied in short circuits” promises the town hall in this cafeteria space which will be open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. within the university.
