If you need to do some last minute shopping or want to hunt for bargains, don’t forget that several businesses will be closed between December 24 and 26. Here’s a quick overview of what will be open and closed.

December 24th

Open

  • pharmacies
  • convenience stores
  • shops and shopping centers, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • branches of the SAQ and those of the SQDC
  • the majority of sports facilities
  • post offices
  • the STM network will operate according to the usual schedule
  • garbage collections according to the usual schedule, except for the boroughs of Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Anjou, Lachine, Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, Saint-Léonard and Ville-Marie, where they will be brought forward or postponed.

Farm

  • municipal libraries
  • the Biodôme, the Biosphere, the Botanical Garden, the Insectarium and the Planetarium
  • Accès Montréal (BAM) offices and permit counters

December 25th
