The Tunisian won her duel against the Canadian in straight sets, in a hotly contested match in the third round of the Parisian Grand Slam.
Ons Jabeur was shaken up, but will see the round of 16. With her victory against Leylah Fernandez (6-4, 7-6), the Tunisian qualified for the next round, Friday May 31 on the Suzanne-Lenglen court. In a match that was closely contested from start to finish, the ninth player in the world had the last word against an opponent she had already beaten in three rounds during the Masters 1000 in Madrid at the end of April.
