Since 7 p.m., this Tuesday, 90 firefighters and around twenty vehicles are mobilized on the heights of Cassis to fight against a fire in natural space. The fire currently extends over one hectare, between the plan of the station and Cuettes.
According to the Bouches-du-Rhône Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) joined by France Bleu Provence, the flames are slowly progressing in this sector, which is difficult to access. For the moment, and still according to Sdis 13, no dwelling is threatened. At 8:30 p.m., the objective of the firefighters was to contain the blaze.
A little earlier in the day, this Tuesday in Provence, help was dispatched to two more fires. First in Pourrières where 500 square meters went up in smoke. And then, in Aups, the flames here covered a hectare and a half.
