A year after the assassination of Dominique Bernard in front of the high school where he taught, stabbed several times, three people are indicted, including Mohammed Mogouchkov, alleged perpetrator of the stabbings.
It is October 13, 2023 when in the Gambetta-Carnot school complex in Arras (Pas-de-Calais), Mohammed Mogouchkov targets his former literature teacher Dominique Bernard. He fatally stabbed him before injuring a PE teacher and two employees of the establishment. An attack that the attacker carried out after pledging allegiance to the Islamic State. If it is established that he had been radicalized for several years, the trigger would date back to 2018. The attacker’s father, on file S, was expelled from French territory.
Even today, according to psychologists, Mohammed Mogouchkov does not question his actions and admits to having deliberately targeted Dominique Bernard. If he claims to have acted alone, his younger brother is imprisoned and prosecuted for criminal terrorist association. Their cousin is being prosecuted for willful failure to prevent a crime.
