A news relocated to Kiev, reports and a special program… France 2 offers, Thursday, February 16, a great evening of information devoted to the war in Ukraine, a little less than a year after the start of the conflict. “All the teams of the national editorial staff of France Télévisions are mobilizing around an evening dedicated to the conflict”details a press release from France Télévisions, which specifies that nearly “4,500 subjects” have been broadcast on the group’s antennas since February 24, 2022. The evening can be followed live on france.tv as well as on franceinfo.fr.
The evening will begin at 8 p.m. with a special edition of Anne-Sophie Lapix’s television news, live from the Ukrainian capital. The evening will continue with the program “Special Envoy”, presented by Elise Lucet, also present in kyiv. The magazine’s teams found men and women who had already testified on the show. A second reporting subject will be devoted to Bakhmout, where fierce fighting has been going on for four months.
Caroline Roux will then receive guests “specialists in diplomatic and military matters to answer the questions posed by a conflict that threatens international stability” as part of “L’Evènement”, live from Paris. The evening will continue with the magazine “Complément d’Enquête”, presented by Tristan Waleckx and devoted to war crimes, before concluding with the program “We, the Europeans”, relocated for the occasion to Poland. Eléonore Gay will interview several personalities, in Poland, Ukraine and Belgium, to understand what the conflict has changed for the European Union.
