Friday, June 3, journalist Caroline Motte presents the campaign newspaper for the legislative elections on the set of 12/13. Seven days before the elections, the French are not very interested in the deadline.
In the columns of Paris Match, singer Michel Sardou confided. If Jean-Luc Mélenchon becomes Prime Minister, he will leave France, says journalist Caroline Motte who presents the campaign newspaper for the legislative elections, Friday June 3, on the set of 12/13. One week before the ballot, the candidates are struggling to mobilize the French. “Voters have the feeling that everything has been said during the presidential election, they have their minds set on vacation, on sunny days”, explains the journalist. Many interviewees admit to being disinterested in this deadline. In 2017, abstention was 57% for the legislative elections.
Caroline Motte then talks about the compensation received by the deputies. This amounts to 5,679 euros net, to which is added an advance on mandate fees of 5,373 euros/month. Benefits have been reduced, although some remain. “A deputy has 18,950 euros per year for taxi, telephone and postage costs which are reimbursed on invoice”describes the journalist.
