The rap game is in shock on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. According to the latest information posted by TMZ, rapper Takeoff was killed last night in a bowling alley in Houston, United States while celebrating Halloween with of his relatives. During the evening, the artist’s uncle, Quavo, allegedly started a game of dice with another individual. Annoyed at the idea of losing, Quavo would then have lost his temper. What would not have pleased his opponent who would not have hesitated to pull out a firearm before shooting.
A game that caused the shootout
Unfortunately, the bullet would have lodged in the head of the emblematic member of the Migos group who would have died on the spot. It is therefore a simple game that would have gone wrong which would be the cause of the death of Kirshnik Khari Ball of his real name. Two other people were also reportedly injured at the scene. They were quickly taken care of by the emergency services before being transported to the hospital. Hours before being shot, Quavo and Offset’s sidekick posted a photo of himself on his Instagram account. He was displayed smoking with, in the background, a sound of Playboi Carti “Stop Breathing”. A visibly premonitory piece.
It was in 2008 that the Migos group was founded. Since then, the trio has enjoyed immense success, notably thanks to “Versace”, but also “Bad and Boujee”. Two titles respectively released in 2013 and 2017. Takeoff was the nephew of Quavo who, himself, was the cousin of Offset, the husband of the famous rapper Cardi B.
