A man died and two others were injured by gunfire on Sunday August 4 in the Teisseire district, a sensitive area of Grenoble, the Grenoble prosecutor told franceinfo, confirming information from Dauphiné Libéré.
The shooter, riding an electric scooter, fled after firing a series of shots at a group of three men. The incident took place around 8 p.m. The three victims were taken care of by emergency services. One of the targeted men died after being transported to Grenoble University Hospital; he was 47 years old. The other two victims are 24 years old.
The Grenoble public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into murder and attempted murder. It has been entrusted to the organized and specialized crime division.
