To save money, the State will notably target MaPrimeRénov’, with one billion euros less for the system’s budget. The aid had already been refocused on January 1st on large-scale renovations.

It was to be more generous in 2024. To save money, the budget of MaPrimeRénov’ will ultimately be cut by one billion euros. The envelope dedicated to energy renovation will still increase, but only by 600 million euros instead of the 1.6 billion planned. As of January 1, aid had already been refocused on large-scale renovations, heavier and more expensive, but much more effective.

More subsidies for a single type of work

To be financed, you must now combine at least two jobs, for example changing your windows and insulating your walls. For the most modest households, the State reimburses up to 90% for work worth 70,000 euros maximum. The objective is to win at least two classes in the energy performance diagnosis. On the other hand, for a single type of work, such as wall insulation, there are no longer state subsidies. Launched in 2020, MaPrimeRénov’ was until now one of the last construction aid schemes spared from budget cuts.
