Martha Wainwright, Mistress of Ceremonies
Two years after its first broadcast, sound mixing returns for a new season with, once again, Martha Wainwright hosting. The singer-songwriter continues to receive musical guests, whether French-speaking or English-speaking Canadians, for performances and discussions around their favorites of the moment.
Mme Wainwright welcomes artists and the public to the bar Le Lux in Montreal in an atmosphere of sharing and rejoicing. For the first episode this year, France D’Amour, Radio Radio and AHI, with the help of their host, notably concocted an authentic evening full of twists and turns, where everyone soaks up the worlds of rock, hip-hop and soul of the guests. Martha Wainwright offers in performance Alexandriaa song written especially for her by the British Beth Orton, and which she very rarely plays in front of the spectators.
