Here we go again ! The new football season starts on Friday August 5 in Germany, France and England. On the other hand, you still need to arm yourself with a little patience for La Liga, which starts on Friday August 12, and Serie A on Saturday August 13 at 6:30 p.m.
After a 2021-2022 season marked by uncertainties over the allocation of TV rights, French viewers must once again increase their subscriptions so as not to miss any competition. Ligue 1: Canal+ and Amazon Prime Video
To watch all the matches of the French championship, you must have a double subscription. First on Canal+, which broadcasts two matches per weekend: that of Saturday evening (9 p.m.) and that of Sunday afternoon (5:05 p.m.).
In addition, you must subscribe to Amazon’s Prime Video service in order to subscribe to the channel. The Ligue 1 Pass, and thus benefit from eight matches per day broadcast on the digital platform : the Friday evening match (9 p.m.), the Saturday afternoon match (5 p.m.), and the six Sunday matches (1 p.m., the 3 p.m. multiplex, and a match at 9 p.m.). The first match broadcast this season will be Lyon-Ajaccio, Friday at 9 p.m.
Premier League: Canal+
Canal+ retains its rights to broadcast the English championship in France, while its contract runs until 2025. The encrypted channel broadcasts this competition exclusively.
Canal+ will broadcast the match on Friday evening (9 p.m.), those on Saturday afternoon (1:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 6:30 p.m.), those on Sunday afternoon (3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.), and finally that on Monday evening (9 p.m.) . The championship opens with a London derby between Crystal Palace and Arsenal on Friday August 5 at 8:30 p.m.
Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga: beIN Sports and Canal+ Sport
As since 2012, beIN Sports has broadcast rights to La Liga and Serie A (until 2024), as well as the Bundesliga (until 2025). The channel of the group chaired by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is also allied with Canal+ until 2025 to distribute beIN to subscribers of the encrypted channel with the Canal global offer.
In Spain, all matches are broadcast from Friday (9 p.m.) until Monday (9:30 p.m.). All weekend, the most beautiful posters, those of Barça and Real in particular, will be available on beIN Sports 1 or beIN Sports 2 while the other matches can be followed on the other beIN Sports channels. The first match of the season will pit Osasuna against Sevilla FC on August 12 at 9 p.m., while FC Barcelona will play on Saturday and Real Madrid on Sunday.
On the side of Serie A, are in general au schedule four matches on Saturday (6.30 p.m. and 8.45 p.m.), four on Sunday (6.30 p.m. and 8.45 p.m.), and finally two last matches on Monday evening (6.30 p.m. and 8.45 p.m.). It is AC Milan who opens the ball on the ground of Udinese, August 13 at 6:30 p.m.
Regarding the Bundesliga, BeIN Sports will broadcast the Friday evening match (8:30 p.m. or 9 p.m.), the Saturday multiplex and poster (3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.), and the Sunday afternoon matches (3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.). For the first day, Bayern Munich travels to the field of Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday at 8:30 p.m.
