Conor McGregor’s appearance in the NBA Finals didn’t go well, either for him or the Heat mascot.

The former UFC champion was on hand to announce that his TIDL Sport body spray is now an official sponsor of the Miami franchise.

But as soon as McGregor took the microphone to make his announcement, he received a swarm of boos from the Heat faithful.

Things didn’t stop there.

McGregor, 34, was then approached by Heat mascot Bernie, who was wearing gold boxing gloves and was obviously looking for a fight.

After sizing each other up, McGregor landed a vicious left hook to the mascot’s head, which was slammed to the ground.

This blow immediately aroused disapproval from the public, who redoubled their boos.

The Irish star then stabbed the mascot in the face as a knockout blow, before spraying Bernie with TIDL as he was pulled off the pitch by the legs.
