Roxane Taquet, a 27-year-old singer from Nantes, was qualified for the blind editions of The Voice in Belgium on January 4. She will participate in the next rounds of the show in February.

Nantaise Roxane Taquet was qualified for the blind auditions of The Voice in Belgium at the beginning of January. _”_I was really in shock, remembers the 27-year-old singer. I cried, a lot, because I said to myself “it’s not me on stage”! It’s weird to see yourself with so much confidence in fact. I had a blast, I really made the audience smile, they danced, they all stood up, even the coaches. It was fire!”
A great victory for Roxane, failed four times from The Voice in France, the last in 2020. “I totally lost my self-confidence and I said to myself that in the end, music might not be for me”, she says. The young woman then tries everything for the casting of The Voice in Belgium. And there it works! She joined the team of singer Black M.
For the next round of the show, the urban pop singer will defend her chances with a standard French song: “Je t’aime” by Lara Fabian. The KO events of The Voice Belgium will be broadcast in February.
