This Sunday, August 14, Florent Pagny gives his news, via his Instagram account. In his photo, we see him sailing on the Aegean Sea, facing a radiant setting sun… where he looks serene and in great shape. If the head is shaved, it sports its eternal mustache-beard duo, its trademark! Immediately after stopping his treatment, it is certain that the singer is sailing towards better days.
We remember that last January, he announced, in a video posted on his Instagram account, to be suffering from inoperable lung cancer: “I have to make a rather special announcement. (…) Indeed, I have just been diagnosed with a tumor in the lung, a cancerous tumor that is not very sympathetic and cannot be operated on”. Florent Pagny then had to undergo heavy treatment as he confided in the JT of TF1: “I discovered it very early. I am at level one. I have a tumor that is between 3 and 6 months old. It’s very young. I only have one tumor. I have no metastasis. Today, there are real good treatments. Immunotherapy is more and more effective”. After having undergone numerous chemotherapy treatments which have considerably reduced his tumor, the fight continues nevertheless… and these few days of rest will surely contribute to giving him even more desire to fight and to find soon his red seat as a juror of The Voice. And the artist is widely supported by his fans and his friends, like Nikos who did not fail to greet the presence of the singer in his native country with a blue heart. And Florent thank and reassure them too: “Everything is fine ! I’m picking up colors in the Aegean Sea. Wonderful”. A cascade of congratulations and compliments have been flowing from under his post… looking like a postcard!
