On the way to the ultra trail in Mexico

Originally from Alsace, Théo Schmitt is 64 years old and has several lives, he is so busy. Between his professional activities, he is a bus driver and beekeeper. He has been in Périgord for several years in Savignac de Miremont, near Le Bugue. Théo has always enjoyed practicing a sport, athletics, car rallying, boxing and skydiving. He did almost everything! He will set off at the start of the Ultra Run Raramuri in Mexico.

This year, Théo Schmitt will take the start of the Mexican Ultra Trail, the Ultra Run Raramuri, from April 23 to 30, 190 km of non-stop running in 60 hours maximum and with a drop of more than 10,000 meters. You can follow his race. Théo will have bib number 501. He has prepared for this with his wife Nadège. He has just taken part in the Vézère trail. He’s still on fire, still active, and he only sleeps 3 hours a night. Tireless and endearing character!

Its rich program in 2022

After Mexico, Théo Schmitt will do the French 24-hour championships in Brive in May, then the Mongolia ultra run next June. He participated in the ultra run Rajasthan in 2019. He holds the record for trans 333 in 2003 it was also in Rajasthan, a record that still stands. But he was also 3 trails in the Dordogne, in Coursac, Argentat and Cherveix Cubas. It raced in India, and in some Eastern European countries. A great traveler and above all a great sportsman!
