On the road | The return of picnics at the cabin next door

For many, it’s a new summer tradition. Picnics in the orchard at the Cabane next door have just started again, with a menu that will change every month.

At $89 for two, this feast which, in June, contains soup, candied trout, asparagus with morel vinaigrette, radishes/brown butter, country pâté and its garnishes, cucumber salad, chicken charcoal and a rhubarb tart is a very good deal.

House ciders, wines, beers and other drinks can be ordered on site. Around a hundred parasols will be distributed between the rows of fruit trees, for your comfort. In the event of rain, a central marquee will shelter the eaters.

If you want to form a group of friends or hold a family reunion, know that it is even possible to reserve a private marquee for 14 people, with service and barbecue.
