On the road | Gastronomy in the vineyard

After Fragments, Pinard et filles and Les Pervenches, Menu Extra is settling in at the Domaine du Nival this summer, for four high-flying meals, from July 27 to 30.

In harmony with the cuvées of the Saint-Louis vineyard, in Montérégie, chefs Francis Blais and Camilo Lapointe-Nascimento will concoct a menu of no less than 12 courses.

In addition to hosting this type of event for the first time, Matthieu Beauchemin and Fannie Boulanger will exclusively offer some of their aged bottles, which Menu Extra’s sommelier, Alexis Demers, will make sure to shine. Tickets for these exceptional evenings cost $400 per person before taxes and tip (expect more than $500 all-inclusive).

The large greenhouse of Domaine Bel-Chas, in the Bellechasse region, will be the scene of a six-course meal, a collaboration between the Arvi restaurant and the Verre Pickl’.

Do you want to ride a little further towards the end of the summer? From August 17 to 19, Arvi restaurant and Le Verre Pickl’, two establishments in Quebec City, are joining forces to hold three very unique evenings at Domaine Bel-Chas, located in the Bellechasse region.

Owned by Julien Masia, chef-owner of Arvi, in Quebec, and his wife, Ariel Pinsonneault, the vineyard – which is also open to the public all summer long, from Thursday to Sunday, with the possibility of tasting products on site – will be the scene of a six-course meal, paired with six wines from the estate.

Tickets go on sale ($220, taxes and service included) this Friday, June 30, at 10 a.m., from a link posted on Arvi’s Facebook page.
