10:41 a.m. : There will be no “family photo” between the leaders of the main left parties during the demonstrations: if Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Julien Bayou and Olivier Faure will perhaps meet in Paris, Fabien Roussel should parade in Lille.
09:55 : Jean-Luc Mélenchon may have had this Communist Party press release in mind when he replied last night, on the program “On est en direct” on France 2, that it is “with them it’s the most complicated”. He has explained his vision of the negotiationsconsidering that the distribution of constituencies must come in a second step: “I refuse to discuss anything until we have decided on the program. Because afterwards, tomorrow, we have to govern.”
09:35 : The formation of Fabien Roussel calls in particular, in addition to the renewal of its eleven outgoing deputies, fourteen other constituencies in which it wishes to invest “personalities recognized for their commitments in the field“, listed in the press release. The PCF also demands, once again, a meeting of the four main parties involved in these negotiations, rather than the continuation of bilateral negotiations between La France insoumise and its possible partners.
09:32 : In a press release late yesterday evening, the Communist Party expressed its dissatisfaction with the proposals of La France insoumise with a view to the legislative elections, which did not “not allowed, at this time, to achieve our shared objective of a new majority on the left”.
