A 51-minute album titled Dawn FM and composed of 16 tubes. At 31, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye aka The Weeknd is still not satisfied, as the first extract proves Sacrifice.

After planetary tubes like Can’t Feel My Face in 2015, Starboy and I Feel It Coming with Daft Punk a year later, or In Your Eyes less than two years ago, so he’s already back with Dawn FM, a concept album thought of as a fictitious radio that would help listeners stuck in an imaginary purgatory to get better and finally see, or hear, here, the light. Obviously reference to the anxiety-provoking period that we are living.

And among the guests on the album, legendary producer and musician Quincy Jones, rappers Lil Wayne and Tyler the Creator, and, more surprisingly, comedian Jim Carrey, a Canadian like him, close and even next to The Weeknd.

And if all goes well, the artist will be in concert at Bercy for four evenings in October and November.
